Twelve-year-old Ivonka Pivonka follows three money transport robbers and gets into trouble when they catch her. They lock her up in the good-natured Kitty's apartment. Meier and Ferri learn of Ivonka's kidnapping and decide to help her escape. They get help from Liese, Ivonka's best friend, and the old ladies Alice and Aline.
