Greg Carradine tells his wife Terry Moffat that the police are after him because he killed a petty criminal in a drunken stupor, but that he is innocent. Terry and her brother John Moffat hide Greg and they try to find out who the real killer is. The further Terry and John get into the murder case, the more they doubt Greg's story.
