Dandelion Dead plot

True story about lawyer Major Herbert Rowse Armstrong, living in Hay-on-Wye, Wales in 1921. He was arrested for poisoning his domineering wife Catherine via arsenic and later attempting poisoning on his corporate competitor Oswald Martin. Rowse has always claimed to have bought the arsenic to kill the dandelions in his garden.
