Confession plot
"The Door Past Which No Law Could Go"
Mike, a criminal who has made a career in crime through slimy behavior, recently cheated on his partner in a robbery. When this partner takes his share, he is murdered shortly afterwards by Alan, the friend of Mike's sister Louise. Alan is willing to confess to the murder. But Mike, worried that he can now only pay for the robbery, kills Allan. Mike's partner has left his share of the loot with the priest Neil, who is subsequently also killed by Mike. However, this turns out to be just one murder too many.
