Chasing Cain plot

A brutal drive-by attack on a Croatian woman who works at an abortion clinic sends two detectives to the streets of one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world: Toronto, Canada. Their first suspect has ties to a pro-life movement. But there's a twist in the story: a fresh trail of clues emerges and the victim's Serbian husband attempts suicide, leading the detectives into the impenetrable world of Balkan politics and prejudice. As they hunt the killer, they uncover an ethnic war between Croats and Serbs.
