Call a Messenger plot

A tough street thug tries to rob a post office but is captured. To avoid the asylum, he takes a job as an errand boy in a post office. He finds that he likes the job and when his brother is released from prison, he helps him to walk the right path. However, the two get involved in the affairs of a local mobster, who plans to raid the post office using the messenger and his brother.
