Blændværk plot
Børge Rasmussen is in love with Elvie Hansen. While visiting Dr. Kermer, Børge steals a small fortune in cash. Together with Elvie, he flees to Copenhagen. On their way to the Danish capital, Elvie breaks up with the relationship. In Copenhagen, the saboteur Verner goes in search of Børge to convince him to travel to Canada, with a briefcase intended for a friend of his. Børge's friend, Marinus, finds out that the briefcase contains a bomb, but when he tries to warn Børge, he is killed. Before he dies, however, he manages to inform Doctor Kermer about the bomb. Kermer leaves Copenhagen with Elvie and goes after Børge to rescue him.
