"Sizzling drama of a short-wave news hound who lived on thrills."
The former newspaper journalist and smooth talker Eddie Haines is now a journalist at the radio station KBC. Eddie is always on top of the news, faster than the New York Star newspaper, where his ex-girlfriend Mary Bradley still works. Mary is jealous of Eddie's way of working. One day Mary is kidnapped by gangsters just at a time when she thinks she has a big story. Eddie wants to free Mary.
