Young and elegant Mary Smith hates the prosecutor who sent her innocent brother Claude to the electric chair. When the prosecutor turns up dead, Mary is immediately a suspect. Buddy Hayes, the son of a wealthy Wall Street financier, is convinced of Mary's innocence. Determined to redeem her, he must help Mary clear her own name before she is sent to prison for good.
