US military pilot Major Bill Rogers is in London for three days. Bill goes there to visit his wife Katie, whom he hasn't seen in a long time. While waiting for her in her flat, he is knocked unconscious. When he comes to, Katie is lying next to him, shot dead and he has a revolver in hand. Bill goes in search of the killer, but has to flee from the police himself because he is the prime suspect...
