Zuckersand plot

Brandenburg in the late 1970s. Ten-year-old Fred and Jonas are best friends who enjoy a happy childhood close to the West Berlin border. However, that changes when Jonas' mother applies for an emigration permit and thus becomes an enemy of the state, which means that Fred and Jonas are no longer allowed to see each other. The two conceived a plan to dig a tunnel into Australia...
