Kind of like Dr. Dolittle movie and equally bad or maybe even worse. This is really a film for the little ones (up to about eight years old) among us because both the story and the humor are so bland and childish as anything. The only thing that could charm me a bit in this crap movie was the cast and then not that imbecile of Kevin James or the voices of the well-known cast but the female beauty such as Rosario Dawson and Leslie Bibb.

Disappointing film in which the animals from a zoo try to prevent their care from leaving them by giving him love advice. This could make for a nice comedy in itself, but there are too many uninteresting side-plots, the jokes are too bland and as a whole way too predictable.

Kevin James is seriously struggling to settle in the movie world. The projects he takes on (or gets assigned?) are therefore not of a very high level. It doesn't quite work here either, although it's a bit better than that awful Mall Cop monstrosity.

Story is really negligible. In terms of predictability, it can count, but the entire course is also fixed from the start. Just as comedies always feel obliged to add some drama towards the end, it is always the same "choose the wrong one and realize it just in time" riff with those romantic films. An annoying cliche.

The talking animals were rather annoying, James was not too bad and Coraci clearly had a budget to play with. This gives the film a warm and cozy look. However, there is nothing more to it.
