Zivot Je Cudo plot
Bosnia 1992 - Luka, a Serbian engineer, left Belgrade with his wife Jadranka, an opera singer, and their son Miloš. They end up in the middle of no man's land. There, Luka is helping to build the railway that will open up the region to tourism. Luka, blinded by his innate optimism, is completely absorbed in his project and remains deaf to the lingering messages of an imminent war. His life is turned upside down when the conflict finally erupts. Jadranka disappears with a musician, while Miloš is called to arms. He remains stubbornly optimistic and awaits the return of his wife and son. But Jadranka does not return and Miloš is captured. Meanwhile, Serbian soldiers force Luka to guard Sabaha, a Muslim hostage. He soon falls in love with the young woman who will have to be exchanged for his son.
