Zemsta plot
Papkin (Roman Polanski) is a member of two bickering seventeenth-century aristocratic families, who are forced to share the same castle. The noble name of the families no longer carries the same weight as in earlier times. While individual greed stirs up a trail of new skirmishes, romance rears its ugly head too.
