Wives and Lovers plot
"You Can't Tell Them Apart Without a Scorecard!"
The unsuccessful writer Bill Austin lives with his wife Bertie in New York. Bertie provides the necessary financial resources with her work. Their lives take a drastic turn when Bill's first novel becomes a bestseller. Bill persuades Bertie to quit her job and they move to the suburbs. Bill spends long days turning his novel into a theater play and spends more and more time with his attractive agent Lucinda Ford. Bertie becomes suspicious and starts a relationship with the actor Gar Aldrich himself.
