Whisky Galore! plot
As a result of the Second World War, a Scottish island has been "drained". When a ship with 50,000 barrels of whiskey on board sinks off the coast, the residents can't resist the temptation. They hatch a plan to smuggle the whiskey ashore under the noses of the English authorities led by Captain Waggett.
