"Same family. Different country. A lot more baggage."
Manchester, 1975; we follow the survival struggle of the Khan family. Sajid is the youngest son to groan outside of his teenage problems under both his tyrannical father with Pakistani traditions and the bastards at school. To get him on track, Father sends him to his mother, his father's first wife, in India, to the family he left behind 35 years ago. But his second wife, originally English, is not at all happy with this and leaves for India with some friends to solve the problems.
