Argentine biology student Miro is in love with the actress Mercedes, but how can he win her love? A misunderstanding that makes him a famous director may come in handy here. His decision is soon made; run a movie starring Mercedes, win her love with it and then marry her! Miro's plan soon takes concrete shape. This also attracts a young Swiss documentary maker, who wants to follow Miro's work.
