The attractive Alice Chesterton is engaged to the boring Tom Carey. She flirts with many of the male guests lounging at an Ives house party, then encourages Terence O'Keefe, a playboy polo player from Ireland, to meet her in town. They are seen together at the "Midnight Frolic". So Mrs. Ives convinces Alice's newly arrived sister Betty to take care of Alice.
