Uferlos! plot

The Swede Mikkel Nordergren inherits from his deceased father a piece of land with a house in Germany. This is much to the chagrin of neighbor Marlies Gottlieb, who leads a secluded life. She wants to be alone with her songbirds and Mikkel disturbs her peace. Not only is he now looking for a buyer for the house, he also hires Marlies' daughter Lia, who is a real estate agent. And in the best Swedish tradition of saying that everyone is equal before the law, he reopens the old riverside path, which Marlies closed years ago, to the public. The relationship between the two neighbors is not getting any better.
