Two on a Bench plot

The US government has determined that a park bench in Boston is being used by spies behind the Iron Curtain to leave messages. Since the bench is used by so many people, anyone can be the spies. Ultimately, the list is narrowed down to two people: the free-spirited, neurotic Macy Kramer (Patty Duke) and stockbroker Preston Albright (Ted Bessell). When government agent Brubaker (Andrew Duggan) puts the two together in a room and tells them that one of them is a spy, Macy and Preston start to suspect each other.
