Turned Out Nice Again plot

George Pearson (George Formby) finds it difficult to tell his domineering mother that he would like to marry his sweetheart Lydia (Peggy Bryan). His mother does indeed faint, but unfortunately recovers quickly enough to go on a honeymoon, which naturally turns into a nightmare. Things go from bad to worse when George also threatens to lose his job.
