Too Many Cooks plot
Albert 'Al' Bennett and Alice Cook are very happy. Using Albert's $7,000 savings, they build their own home in a remote area. Trouble begins when Albert's boss and uncle George Bennett, who knows nothing about Albert's engagement, inspects the house and announces that he wants to move in with him. In addition, George wants Albert to marry the beautiful Minnie Spring, whom he has just met, so that all three can live happily ever after. But then Alice's parents come to see the house under construction.
