Tokyo Zance plot

Seven inexperienced directors show their impressions of life in Tokyo through a short film. A man has had enough of the pedantic broadcasters on the bus he takes every day; a formerly famous singer meandering through the city finds the escalator of her dreams; a young man visits the amusement park where he made an appointment with his classmates twenty years ago; a scale in a women's bath is retiring after 35 years of loyal service; a man lives on top of a building close to the railway and a woman stands in a field surrounded by 'geta' (traditional Japanese wooden footwear), they are looking for a grandparent; two elementary school kids with fanatical fathers compete in a running race; four eccentric elderly men set out in their mobility scooters in search of a temple where they hope to find 'umeboshi' (a typical Japanese fruit somewhere between plum and apricot) for their beloved Tomiko.
