The Yankles plot

"They Came. They Prayed. They Played!"

Charlie Jones is a professional baseball player who is fired from the LA Spirits due to a drinking problem. He is sentenced to community service. He has to coach a baseball team for 192 hours. However, because of his past, no one wants him. The only team willing to give him a second chance is a group of Jewish, Orthodox Jehovah's students who set up the baseball team 'The Yankles'. After a rough start, Charlie begins to feel at home with the team. 'The Yankles' strive for success on the field as Charlie works to rebuild his reputation and his relationships.
