The WAC from Walla Walla plot
The Canova family from the rural town of Walla Walla are the proud descendants of great-grandfather Canova, the town's founder. Father and grandfather Canova, both war veterans, are disappointed when Judy is born. They would rather have a son or a grandson, respectively. Judy also turns out to be very clumsy. Judy has even been able to destroy the statue of great-grandfather Canova. One day Judy meets some soldiers and she then joins the 'WAC' (Women's Army Corps). In this way, she also hopes to be closer to Lieutenant Tom Mayfield, whom she is in love with. But Judy turns out to have a rival in her attractive WAC colleague Doris Vail. Complications are inevitable when Judy and Doris are assigned to Tom's 'section-13'. Section-13 is working on a secret missile.
