The Teaser plot

Ann Barton (Laura La Plante) worked in the cigar shop before being adopted by her aunt Margaret Wyndham (Hedda Hopper). Her new guardian takes Ann to New York to introduce her to wealthy circles. Aunt Margaret is shocked to find that her niece is completely ill-mannered and even worse, that she is already engaged to James McDonald (Pat O'Malley), a rude cigar merchant.
