The Reluctant Debutante plot

Lord Broadbent (Harrison) is a jolly good fellow who largely ignores the hassle of parties, soirees and debutante balls. That does not matter because in Great Britain 'the season' has just started. The happy few go en masse from ball to ball, or go to Ascot or the then chic Wimbledon for a change. Meanwhile, Broadbent's new wife (Kendall) tries to link the daughter from his first marriage to a lordship of the highest order. Daughter (Dee) falls for the normal boy Parkson (Saxon) with whom Broadbent immediately gets on very well.
