The Primitive Lover plot

Phyllis Tomley, full of romantic fantasies gleaned from the stream of bad novels she devours, begs her husband Hector to divorce her so she can marry the handsome writer Donald Wales. Unwilling to deprive Phyllis of her happiness, the despondent Hector reluctantly agrees. Chief Bluebottle, an Indian and Hector's friend, grabs his depressed buddy and brings him to his senses. Bluebottle convinces Hector to fight like a man. More importantly, he will teach him a barbaric way to win back his wife.
