The Mother and the Bear plot

After her daughter Sumi slips on the ice and is temporarily put into a medically induced coma, Sara flies to Winnipeg to be with her. Sara, a bit old-fashioned, believes the accident would never have happened if Sumi had been married. While her daughter sleeps, she has plenty of time to make plans. She creates an online dating account under Sumi's name and starts chatting, determined to find her the ideal Korean husband. During this frantic search, Sara learns some surprising things about herself, and about Sumi as well.
