The Kibitzer plot

Ike Lazarus is a man of Jewish descent. He can't resist intruding into other people's lives. Big trouble ensues when he accidentally ends up with a huge fortune in stocks, which he can spend on whatever he wants. At the same time, his daughter has fallen in love with a poor, but kind-hearted boy. Ike suggests that he bet all his money on a bad racehorse, which the boy eventually does. But against all odds, the horse wins and suddenly the poor young man is also quite rich.
