Tommy Jefferson Scott enrolls at 'Thorpe University'. His intention is to become a doctor. However, Tommy's plans are sidelined when football coach 'Daisy' Adams realizes that, despite his small height, Tommy can walk remarkably and would be a valuable addition to the team. Although Tommy plans to finish school, Adams can easily tempt him with free lessons. Tommy does indeed join the soccer team and a soccer career seems to be in the offing.
