Sucker plot

When 18-year-old Lawrence is caught cheating during his final math exam, he is banned from medical college. Instead, he has to spend the summer with his weird uncle. By chance, he meets 'The Professor', an elderly, colorful con man who invites him and his well-spoken daughter Sarah for a tour. As they travel across the country, Lawrence learns the intricacies of the professor's scam and the truth about Sarah's love.
