Stealing Roses plot

Walter (John Heard) has his back against the wall when his wife Rose (Cindy Williams) develops throat cancer. With no money to pay for medical treatments, he decides to rob a bank. Walter carefully prepares for the heist - getaway car, masks and weapons - and studies the property. When he and Rose are fired by their only client, Rose decides to become a partner in the bank robbery. Meanwhile, their son, police officer Johnny (Mark Famiglietti), moves in with his parents to keep an eye on his suspicious father. When it turns out that Rose is too ill to help, Walter enlists his eccentric friends for the heist.
