"The most hilarious mixture of Love, Laughter and Larceny you've ever seen on the screen!"
After defrauding a rich man with cards, the three con men Matthew, Monk Williams and Benny escape the police by hiding in a cathedral. Soon after, the police arrive and they interrogate the wise Reverend Miles in his office about the fugitive men, but Miles replies in euphemisms, distracting the police. Meanwhile, the three criminals can secretly leave the cathedral dressed as clerics. Now on the run again, the crooks muse on the reasons they chose this life.
