Sisterhood plot
"Some People Shouldn't be Related"
Catherine St.John-Burke is an independent, fast-paced, status-obsessed, sophisticated British woman who lives alone in Chelsea, London. One day her world is turned upside down when she finds an uneducated beer-drinking woman from New Zealand (with very hairy legs) in her living room. Shirley Zachary claims to be her half-sister and explains that their father, whom Catherine believed to have died when she was a child, is still alive and now, following the death of their mothers, is trying to reclaim their property. After a DNA test, it turns out that they are indeed related. Both women decide to team up to track down their father Jack - a swindler stuck in the 1970s - and claim their rightful inheritance.
