Paul is a submissive electrician who, with his nagging and domineering wife Beatrice, moves into a new house in a neighborhood beset by robberies. One night the responsible gang breaks into their home and beats up Paul, kills Beatrice and flees with the valuables. When Paul accepts his wife's death, she appears as a ghost that only he can see and hear. She whines until he takes to the street, together with his neighbor, to avenge her in a special way.
