Schmidt & Schwarz plot

Commissioner Carolin Schwarz seems to be fighting windmills. Her superior considers a little girl's murder case solved and only thinks about his vacation. The colleagues would rather eat pizza at the desk than go looking for the killer. When a pedophile is found dead shortly afterwards, the mother of the murdered Maja is arrested as a suspect. Only Carolin believes in the innocence of the woman. Out of sheer frustration and disgust at the state of affairs at the police, Carolin eventually wants to resign, but then she receives support from an unexpected source...
