Phra Rot-Meri plot

Twelve girls are left behind by their parents because they are too poor to care for them. The twelve daughters are "saved" by a man-eating ogre, who has disguised himself and promises to take care of them. Phra Rodasan, the only surviving son of one of the twelve sisters, embarks on a quest for the land of the ogre. But once there, he falls in love with the ogre's daughter, Meree.
