Perhoset plot
29-year-old Siiri is a hard-working millennial. She wants to succeed in her job as an advisor to the Minister of Economic Affairs and yearns for a promotion. Siiri’s job takes her and the hard-to-handle Minister, an unpredictable eccentric, to a large tango festival in a small Finnish town. Siiri’s father Petri, a former tango artist and an overly optimistic middle-aged man, wants to make himself useful to Siiri. But in the meantime, he tries to hide the fact that he himself is homeless, bankrupt, and desperate. Over the course of a summer weekend, both Siiri and Petri’s facades crumble, but the tango continues into the sweet Finnish summer night.
