Parting Shots plot

"When Harry found out he had six weeks to live, something snapped...and it wasn't his camera."

Harry Sterndale (Chris Rea), an expired photographer, is told he has only six weeks to live. On a whim, Harry decides to take as many people as possible, who have bothered him in this life, to the next life. First he kills his crafty ex-wife who left him for a wealthy photographer, then the shady banker who stole his money. Everything runs smoothly until he meets the lovely Jill (Felicity Kendall). When he discovers that his life insurance policy pays out the most on murder, he decides to hire the killer Jamie so he can leave everything to Jill. As the police and Jamie get closer and closer, Harry falls more and more in love with Jill and doesn't want to die at all.
