Parade en 7 Nuits plot

Anicet works at the municipal dog shelter and is so blinded by his love for dogs that he talks to them regularly, believes they understand him and have their own language among each other. One night he hears that the dog Pipo is telling his life story to his unfortunate companions. His first boss was Freddy, a circus clown, who was in love with a girl who laughed at him, causing him to commit suicide. And so Pipo ended up with a jealous rich woman, but the moment he caught her husband with a mistress, he was kicked out by him. Then Pipo ended up with two brothers - rich industrialists. One day he witnessed a murder at their place and that meant a new boss for Pipo, now a devoted priest, who was visited on Christmas Eve by a pregnant unmarried woman. The baby born served as Jesus in the midnight mass and the father showed up anyway and acknowledged his son.
