Palmer's Pick Up plot

One Christmas Eve 1999 in Los Angeles, truck driver Bruce and his friend Pearl receive an order from a mysterious antiques dealer: if they bring him a crate (of which it is not clear what it contains) to Florida, they will receive $12,000. Under any circumstances, they are not allowed to look at what is in the crate. During their ride, the two encounter the strangest characters.
