Onkel Bräsig plot

The clever Zacharias Bräsig, now retired, is a good friend to everyone and tries to help where he can. For example, he helps the caretaker Karl Hawermann to preserve the estate of the deceased lord of the manor, since Lieutenant von Rambow, the heir to the estate, is more of a theoretician than a practical man. Bräsig also likes to meddle in the relationships of young people, so that a double marriage occurs afterwards.
