One Terrible Day plot
The snooty Mrs. Pennington Van Renssalaer decides to organize a nice picnic for the local children. She does this not out of the goodness of her heart, but as a publicity stunt. She hopes to impress all her snobbish friends by showing her love for children. Unfortunately, she chooses a group of befriended children who are not easy to handle. They cause considerable nuisance and also take their dog and monkey with them.
