Playboy Tom Collier is a flier who lives by the day and mainly deals with parties. Until he meets photographer Christie Sage. Through her, he becomes the owner of the liberal magazine The Bantam, which stands for everything his family opposes. The love between Tom and Christie has blossomed, but when he asks her to marry, she declines, thinking she will never fit into his social circle. But she regrets this.
