Once in a Lifetime plot
"It's Colossal!"
During Hollywood's heyday, theater performers George, May and Jerome pose as connoisseurs of a "new" technology and try to land a job at a well-known studio. They soon come under increasing pressure when they have to demonstrate their 'expertise'. George eventually convinces the head of the studio to let him make a film that will serve as a springboard for his new girlfriend Susan. Inevitably, the necessary antics and misunderstandings arise.
