A local documentary filmmaker delves into the world of martial arts schools for a regional television news story. The gym he visits is run by Big Joe and is nothing short of extraordinary. But then the documentary filmmaker becomes fascinated by a rival gym run by Keith Kraft, a self-proclaimed karate expert. His teaching methods prove to be unconventional.
