Oblako-Ray plot
Satirical, melancholy film about the cheerful Kolya who likes to chat with his lethargic neighbours. He lives in a desolate suburb of a provincial town where everyone is exhausted and listless. Kolya, however, is cheerfulness itself and one day he informs his friend Fedya that he is leaving for the Far East where he has been offered a wonderful job. The whole neighborhood springs into action, throws a big farewell party and probably distributes Kolya's belongings. Nobody believes him anymore when he confesses to making everything up.
