Rachel, a sugary naive teacher (Lili Taylor), her platonic suitor with lizards in his pocket (Will Patton) and an extremely shy welder who is afraid to cash his checks because he is in love with the bank cashier (John Turturro). All extras in a wonderful story about a garage owner who does not repair cars, but makes his customers pay and, if possible, also disposes of their mobile. When Rachel finally realizes that she's been cheated by her garage owner Yannick, she thinks she's had enough.
